Two weeks ago, in a mad creative whirlwind, we put our heads together and created a one minute video that we submitted to TED as our audition for the TED2012: Full Spectrum conference.
Today, we got the news that we are in! FLUX is going to TED!
On May 24th, we will travel to NYC and create spectacle and wonder as we engage the TED audience in our collaborative process. What *will* we do on that stage? You will just have to wait and see!
We are in pretty amazing company: astrophysicists Dr. Jane Rigby and Dr. Amber Straughn will be there as will my own personal hero, Reggie Watts, among SO many other creative minds. We are humbled by and thrilled for this opportunity, and it was only made possible by the incredible work, creativity and collaborative effort of every single one of you who has participated in building art with FLUX. Thank *you* for making this possible. Though only a few of us will physically be in NYC at TED, you will all be with us in spirit and image when we show TED what we do.
We’ve got some wild plans for a new interactive system that we’d like to bring to TED. Support FLUX in sharing it with a live audience in NYC by donating to our Kickstarter campaign!
